Cassandra remained quiet, being both embarrased about the 'housewife' accident, and fearfull about the fact they were off to face Fiona's captor.

Winnie sensed Cassandra was not allright, and despite the fact the two angels didn't liked each other very much, she walked beside her, trying to cheer her up.

"You know, it's a mortal. So we can.. Er.. Beat him up easily." Winnie said, swooping her hand trough the air like she was gonna hit a person.

"I don't think it's wise if we acutally fight the man." Justin stated. "We have to get Fiona safe, that goes first."

"And then we'll kick his sorry butt?" Winnie asked.

Justin sent the angel a glare.

"It's seven of us versus one," Calvin said. "We could probably use Justin, lephead (ed. note: Larch), and I to fight the guy and the rest of you get Fiona free."

"Hey, I can fight!" Winnie barked. The angel was afraid they were gonna use magic to free Fiona - and she didn't exactly mastered her powers yet. Barely used it, to speak.

Justin nodded at Calvin's words, ignoring Winnie. "I'm in for that." he grunted darkly.

Larch scoffed and crossed his arms, "Weeell, I guess now we all know who's got himself a case o' lep-envy."

Picking up his pace he gave Calvin a sympathetic pat on the shoulder and grinned. "Try not to get too bent out o' shape about it Callie. After all, some lads get all the luck, an' some lads... wind up like ye."

Deirdre rolled her eyes at their childish squabbling. It seemed those two would be exchanging insults until the end of time.

"Larch, we're not in Comedy classes now." Justin said dryly, still concentrating in a try to pick up the scent of magic, but growing frustrated as he failed to do so.

Cassandra looked at a pair of trees. "I think I remember these.."

Calvin was not a fan of Larch's 'sympathy', and responded by smacking his top hat off of the lep's head. The angel then marched forward at a brisker pace, in order to avoid Larch.

Janna looked over to Larch with a lower lip pout, wondering why he tried to rile up her fellow angel.

"Boys..." Deirdre said warningly. "Let's just concentrate on finding Fiona. It feels like we're getting closer."

Larch brushed some grass of his hat and put it back on. "Moody much, Callie? Tsch, I thought ye would've cooled off by now, seein' as how this fiasco's all yer fault."

{These two need closure, and we'll never get 'em in therapy. -_-' }

Justin was about to snap at the two, but was cut off.

"Hat Guy and Hat Guy, The Ultime Battle." Winnie said it like she was citating some action movie.

"More like some new characters to the Muppet Show!" Justin remarked dryly. "C'mon guys, I'm trying to concentrate and this immature behaviour isn't gonna save Fiona." The elf was getting a bit pissed off.

"Could you please cut it out?" Cassandra timidly asked Larch, not waiting nor wanting a fight between the lep and the angel.

Calvin would have ignored it, but Larch's accusation was the tipping point. The angel stopped, snarled, and growled, going from so-so to irate instantly.

"Cal-veen?" Janna asked with worry. "Please be calm," she timidly requested.

Calvin stormed over to Larch, getting in the lep's face to unleash a tirade on him. "How is this whole thing my fault?!?" he screamed. "I've been doing everything I can to get the girls better! What have you done, Lucky Charms?!?"

{Closure? But this is fun ;P}

"Keep it together Callie!" Cassandra said, rushing over to the angel's side, trying with Janna to keep him calm.

Justin stood next to the lep, shooting worried looks to Janna and Deirdre. "Now let's not point fingers to each other guys..." he said in a hushed tone, trying to calm both down.

"Stop it!" Winnie panicked. The tough shield was gone, now exposing she was terrified the two guys would start a fight.

"Don't you see this is getting us nowhere?!"

(Leaving in 2 hours.... *nervous* XP)

Larch narrowed his eyes and shot the angel an equally stubborn glare. "Ye really are a piece o' work Callie. Here we stand, finally on common ground, an' ye've still got it in for me."

He stepped back and made a sweeping gesture at their feet. "I know they're probably not the most comfortable fit, but yer in me shoes now so ye might as well face it. Just like the ordeal with Haggy was (unintentionally) me own fault, the lasses got kidnapped by that loony magician because ye went an' ran off at the start o' the trip. We didn't mean for it to happen but we've both caused trouble for the whole group!"

Deirdre looked surprised, not sure if she was hearing him right. Either those two were about to make a breakthrough - or something was gonna get broken.

Calvin looked down and scrunched his nose and mouth, looking like a little kid that had just been told off. Larch did have a point, and it was possible that Calvin was overreacting to the whole thing. Possibly because the angel was a little too sensitive to what happened to the girls.

All the angel did was mutter a 'Fine' and marched forward, not challenging Larch anymore but accepting the events that happen.

Janna went over to the lep and looked up to him. "That might be best Look geet," she calmly said. "Let us find Fee-o-na."

Winnie sighed in relief, following Justin as he made a few steps, trying to sense magic.

Cassandra patted Calvin on the shoulders, then looked if she spotted something familiar.

Satisfied with the outcome, and harboring a little more respect for Calvin now, Larch fell in step with the others.

Deirdre was glad things hadn't turned violent, they needed to save their energy for rescuing Fiona. She waited until they'd gone a bit further before asking, "Any sign of her yet?"
