Bio: Many theories surround the origin of the Hag. Some say she is a nightmarish spirit who preys upon terrified sleepers. Others believe she was once an evil witch whose powers in the dark arts kept her spirit earthbound after death. It has also been said that, because of the misdeeds of her wicked life, the higher immortals cursed her to remain a wandering soul. Or, perhaps she was granted the "Hag" status so that she might serve the less reputable immortals eternally?

What is known about the Hag is that she has been around for centuries and has been called upon by many a villain to do their dirty work. She has served as a tool for several scheming immortals, using her spells and ghastly familiars to terrorize their enemies - or lurk in the shadows. Using her magic, she can render her victims unconscious and drain their energy as they sleep. (Immortals have a higher resistance to this than humans, but younger, less powerful creatures can still fall victim.) Presently, she's serving as a minion for Morgan le Fay, though it appears she might also be running her own agenda on the side. The Hag likes to target human children, since the impressionable youngsters make easy prey, and thus has butted heads with Deirdre on many occasions in the past. As the Hag sees it, if the protective banshee was out of the way, she'd be free to haunt all of Sidhe and the nearby village of mortals. So when given the chance to make trouble for Deirdre and her friends, she never passes it up.

* I might be making some revisions to this later. I usually like to run OC ideas by Jen first if the species hasn't shown up in the comic yet, just to make sure I'm somewhere in the ballpark of the MA-Verse.

Bio: Huge muscles, an intimidating presence, and nerves of steel! Skitch... has none of these. Harboring nervous tendencies (when he's not snoozing on the job) the diminutive gnome is hardly the type of nightmarish fiend you'd expect to be lurking in the Phantom Queen's castle. Not even Morgan is sure why she keeps the "little oaf" around.

Poor Skitch is pretty much a bumbling coward who's trying to stay on the good side of the most powerful (and ill-tempered) being in Sidhe. When he's not underfoot he's tucked away in some remote corner of the castle doing menial chores - like alphabetizing Morgan's potions - or eavesdropping on the latest goings on. He prefers not to get directly involved in anything the queen does and doesn't get out nearly as much as Larch. When the two aren't stumbling over each other to get out of le Fay's way, Skitch mutters words of caution to the lep or makes bemused observations. All-in-all, he's not such a bad guy, just out to make a living - and save his skin.
