How to Commission - Rules

So you're interested in commissioning some artwork from me? That's great! Just check out the following styles to see what catches your eye, and follow the instructions at the bottom of the page.

MA Style

The MA style is my own personal style in which I draw the comic, using openCanvas, Flash and Photoshop for finished pieces. I can be flexible when working with this style and prices vary according to type (headshot, torso, full-body etc) and number of characters.

Retro Style

Retro characters are my cheapest option for finished art at only $10 for a retro with a simple background. Retro art is sketched in openCanvas and finished in Flash.

Retro Pets

Retro animals are extremely fun to do, and make for great and unique pet caricatures! Retro animals are sketched in openCanvas and finished in Flash, with occasional touch-ups in Photoshop.

How to Commission

If you would like to commission me, just send me an e-mail with the following information:

• Your name/e-mail adddress
• Which art style you are interested in
• As much detail as you can possible give me about what would like me to draw. Preferably include reference pics if you have them.

I'll e-mail you back to confirm what you would like and give you a price quote. Prices may vary depending on the detail you ask for, and the number of characters per image. For example, a single pic of a character from the torso-up would end up being cheaper than stated, but a group of five full-body characters would have to tack on an extra cost due to the time it takes me to finish it.

Once you have confirmed that the 'price is right', I'll get to work on your commission. Don't pay me just yet! Pay me when you see the sketched version so you know it's to your standard. Once I have received your payment, I'll go right ahead and ink/colour it and eventually e-mail you the finished piece. Please state if you would like a higher-definition version of the image for printing and the like - I'd be happy to include it in the e-mail.

I (currently) accept payment through Paypal only.

Rules

Out of principle, I will not draw the following:

• Copyrighted characters
• Violence
• Narcotics
• Yaoi/Yuri
• Pornography/nudity

I reserve the right to refuse any commission requests that I find objectional. Also, once you receive the commissioned piece, please do not erase the copyright notice on the commissioned piece.
