Welcome to TheMuseAcademy.com!

When I saw Megan's submission to the competition I knew it was something special. I like to enourage people to think outside the box; sure Puck is a prankster and probably acquired his feather through some ill-advised and misappropriated plot, but what if he hadn't? He is as perfectly capable of doing good/noble deeds as anyone else (although given the choice, he'd rather take the sneaky way out). I think Megan's description of the pic says it all:

'To me Puck wanted a feather at a young age. And he wasn't savvy with magic quite yet. Yet he wanted to try out some that he found. Maybe along the way he wanted to test them on a Gryphon. Well, he got beat up in the process of trying to earn a feather from a Gryphon. After all a Gryphon won't give up a feather for any old reason. It has to be a special reason. I think that the Gryphon felt that Puck gave it his all ... and he did. Besides Puck had a lot of moxie to go up against a full grown Gryphon. Which the Gryphon thought was a worthy reason for a feather. Puck earned it ... in a way. Who would want to take on a Gryphon at any age any way?'
