Sunday June 17th 2007:
After a week of waiting on the edge of my seat and hours of painstakingly re-coding the website, we're back on track. Bear with me for a while as I'm pretty much doing this blind; my local ISP still hasn't registered it as renewed so I can't rectify any typos or broken links/images until I can see it again.
Basically, what happened was I checked the website on Monday morning after not being online for two days, and it was fine. I break for a few hours, check my e-mails and see that my fiancé has e-mailed me to say it was down. And sure enough, it was. Thinking this to be a temporary thing, I sat back and waited ... and waited ... and waited ...
When I finally got in touch with my webhosts they told me one of the servers was down and would be back online on Friday. And since I'd rather give them the benefit of the doubt and couldn't be bothered recoding a whole new website, I agreed and waited. And waited still. And a day later I realised that I really couldn't be bothered with this 'I'll do it when I'm ready' level of service, and switched webspace providers.
Sooooo that's been the 'adventure' of the week. To anyone who's looking for a webhost right now, please please PLEASE use a reputable company with good customer service. It'll save you a lot of heartache in the end.
But back to the comic :D To apologise for the week of missing updates, Muse Academy will update every day from now (Sunday) to Friday until we're back on schedule. I am really, really sorry about this whole business and hope that hasn't turned you off the comic ^^; Providing my new host is up to par, there shouldn't be any more incidents like this.
